Its goal is to strengthen the inclusion of Roma through policies and initiatives that address economic disparities, combat antigypsyism, and promote social integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objective of the Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Job Matching Officer<\/strong> will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing <strong>vocational training programs for Roma NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) individuals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key focus areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhancing employability of Roma NEET individuals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitating <strong>job matching<\/strong> and career coaching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting <strong>inclusive hiring practices<\/strong> within the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Development and Implementation of Vocational Training Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct <strong>needs assessments<\/strong> to identify specific vocational skills required by Roma NEET individuals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop <strong>training programs<\/strong> with curricula tailored to industry demands and participant needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recruit qualified <strong>trainers<\/strong> in areas such as construction, IT, hospitality, etc., to deliver high-quality training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Hands-on Training and Job Placement Services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide <strong>coaching services<\/strong> on job applications, interview preparation, and career development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct research on industries with growth potential in the Western Balkans and align training programs accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish partnerships with <strong>local businesses<\/strong> to create job placement opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a <strong>skills and competencies database<\/strong> of Roma individuals to streamline job matching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate <strong>job matching and placement<\/strong>, supporting participants throughout the hiring process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocate for <strong>inclusive hiring policies<\/strong> with government agencies, businesses, and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Advocacy for Inclusive Employment Policies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Facilitate <strong>policy dialogues<\/strong> with government agencies, legislators, and advocacy groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure employment policies recognize antigypsyism and promote Roma inclusion at national and regional levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree in Business Administration, Law, Political Science, International Relations, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or related field desirable but not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 3 years in <strong>vocational training, employment services, or job matching<\/strong>, preferably with marginalized groups or Roma communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience in developing and implementing training programs or employment initiatives, ideally within <strong>EU-funded projects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of labor market trends and growth sectors in the Western Balkans is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong <strong>communication and interpersonal skills<\/strong> for engagement with communities, employers, and government representatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent <strong>organizational and project management<\/strong> abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Job Matching Officer will report directly to the <strong>Project Coordinator<\/strong> and collaborate with regional project partners.
