This report was developed in response to the need to recognize and document the suffering of the Roma community in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the 1992–1995 war, with a particular focus on the Podrinje region. Grounded in the principles of transitional justice, the report documents war crimes committed against Roma, highlights the long-standing invisibility of Roma victims in research and public discourse, and provides recommendations for strengthening memorialization, institutional recognition, and the realization of victims’ rights to truth, justice, reparations, and guarantees of non-recurrence.
